About Me
Hi, I'm Christopher LeBlanc.
The reason I started LeBlanc Destinations is simple: I genuinely love experiencing the world, and I believe the best parts of travel are the ones you never could have planned from a brochure.
In a world where everything feels faster, more automated, and less personal, travel has become one of the few things that still feels real. It's about being present, trying something you've never tried before, getting a little uncomfortable, and creating memories that stay with you long after you return home.
Of course, I enjoy visiting famous landmarks. Seeing centuries of history, incredible architecture, and iconic destinations is part of the experience. But those aren't usually the moments I remember most. The stories I come home telling are the unexpected ones.
One of my favorite memories was driving through the Peruvian Andes with my cousin to hike Rainbow Mountain. Instead of joining one of the organized tours, we rented a car and left much later than anyone would recommend. By the time we reached the summit, every other group had already gone home. The entire hike up and down, and even the drive there, felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Everyone else had already left.
On the way back down, the sun disappeared, leaving us surrounded by complete darkness. There wasn't another person in sight. It was the darkest sky I've ever experienced, with more stars than I knew existed. Looking back, hiking down a mountain in total darkness probably wasn't the smartest decision but it's one of those experiences I'll remember for the rest of my life.
Those are the moments I love sharing with my family and friends. Not because they were perfect, but because they were real. That's the kind of travel I hope to help you experience.
Your perfect trip may look completely different from mine. Maybe it's a honeymoon, a milestone birthday, a quiet village in the Alps, or finally checking a lifelong dream off your bucket list. Whatever it is, my goal isn't to hand you a generic itinerary it's to help create a journey that's uniquely yours.
If I can help you come home with stories you'll still be telling years from now, then I've done my job.
